The Role

We’re looking for a hardworking and dedicated People Operations Assistant to help us give our future teammates the best hiring experience possible. Working closely with our People Operations Associate, the People Operations Assistant will:

  • Assist with outreach and recruitment to colleges, new job boards, and other potential pipelines for great candidates.
  • Screen resumes and cover letters for open roles, using team-specific criteria.
  • Ensure all candidates hear from us in a timely manner, and that all candidate communications are professional, friendly, and reflect well upon our brand.
  • Coordinate phone screens, performance tasks, travel and in-person interview logistics as needed.
  • Keep meticulous records of referral candidates, candidate statuses, and search materials.

  • You are high-capacity: able to take on an incredible amount of work without breaking a sweat.
  • You are a strong and intentional communicator who speaks and writes with their audience in mind.
  • You are a reflective and thoughtful teammate who takes and gives feedback well.

The Details

  • Hours: Flexible schedules. Between 15 – 29 hours a week, dependent on seasonal workload.
  • Location: national office in midtown Manhattan.
  • Compensation: $15 per hour
