Team Overview

The Content Operations team delivers on the promise by reviewing and vetting each project request, providing vivid feedback from teachers and students to every donor. Guided by customer insights, we build smarter tools and develop better processes so that we can deliver an exceptional experience for teachers and donors. We like to say we operationalize storytelling.

In this role, you will support and guide the work of the entire team by driving conversations about innovation and efficiency in people, processes, and tools. You’ll help the team scale and grow by making sure we capture and use knowledge and strategy as efficiently as possible.

You will:

  • Make data-informed people, process, and tool recommendations and work with collaborators across the organization to bring them to life.
  • Know the “who, what, why” and “how” of the Content Operations team, lead trainings, and create resources to keep colleagues up-to-speed and in-the-know.
  • Work closely with the Knowledge and Strategy Manager on things like project eligibility, scaling new project types, key team metrics and data.
  • Create and scale flexible resources and systems that grow with the ever-changing needs of our organization, team, and users.
  • Advocate for the Content Operations team and key users throughout larger projects or decisions.

You are:

  • A strong and flexible writer. You get joy from the challenge of making complex ideas clear and easy to understand. You can recognize different audiences and switch your strategy in an instant, personalizing your delivery along the way.
  • A curious and creative mind. For you, the “why” is just as important as the “what,” and these questions are usually answered using data and analysis. You aren’t afraid to explore and advocate for new or unusual solutions to problems.
  • Adaptable. You’re excited by change and pivot strategies quickly.
  • Well-organized. Competing timelines, strategies, and goals are no match for your planning and execution prowess.
  • Willing to learn and make mistakes along the way. You’re excited to grow and challenge yourself in a supportive team environment.

Compensation and Benefits offers a competitive salary and benefits package that includes 100% employer paid health, dental, and vision coverage; a matching 401K plan (up to 5% of your salary); an annual professional development stipend; and 5 weeks paid vacation plus national holidays.
